CHL classes on the official schedule are only $115 for new applicants and $75 for renewals.

Shane is available to teach Concealed Handgun License classes for any number of people (even just 1!) on Sunday through Friday. That is the most flexible and available schedule of any CHL class in Houston. Fit your CHL training into your schedule!
Note: These off-schedule classes are $150 per person for new applicants and $100 for Renewals.

We believe that every citizen should not only be armed, but also proficient. Toward that goal, we offer beginner lessons, with the use of our guns (get an idea of what you like before spending your hard-earned money).

We proudly support our troops. All active military personnel and all veterans receive a $25.00 discount off any class fee. Additionally, the State of Texas waives CHL licensing fees for full-time active military and anyone honorably discharged for less than a year, and all other veterans receive a 50% discount on the state licensing fee. Thank-you for your service!

To expedite your license application process, please visit the DPS website and apply for your license online. Then you can bring the forms they give you to the class for Shane to verify. You can also download the application forms, print them, fill them out, and bring them with you to the class if you would prefer to submit them manually.

L1 Identity Solutions is the state approved vendor of fingerprinting for CHL Licensees. Please see the DPS website's Fingerprints and Photos information page, for more information about the fingerprinting process. You DO NOT have to get the fingerprinting done before you come to class.
